My name is Mark Markiewicz. markiewicz518@gmail.com 772-7594
I really didn't want to join this group. I would much rather be in the assembly presenting ideas and working on other issues in other groups.
I and most of us who met last Tuesay, felt to keep momentum up and to build a LARGE STRONG group we had to have another meeting quickly especially since we planned an event. I reached out to everyone to help with this and only Todd responded so in essence Todd and I were stuck with the task of organizing and running Saturdays meeting, NOT what I had wanted or hoped for. I was hoping for a group or at least 3 or 4 others to help with the meeting but it didn't happen happen that way despite my efforts.
I have owned and operated a small business in St Lawrence County before selling it and moving to Clifton Park 10 yrs ago. Since then I have mostly been in sales or sales management. I have some experience designing and doing presentations before individuals and small groups. Unfortunately the idea of operating by group consensus is new to me. My only experience is the meetings I have been to in Albany. I am trying to learn as quick as I can and help other learn as well.
I believe it is VERY IMPORTANT to have different people facilitate at each meeting. I hope to learn as quickly as possible and help teach others so we can make this happen.
I encourage everyone to join this group EVEN IF YOU HAVE LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE. This type of organization is new to most if not all of us.

Yes, its vitally important that we have multiple people able to facilitate these meetings. I will help where I can, I'm not one to shy away from this type of work, but the spirit of this movement is for inclusion and participation by all.
Oh yes, I'm Todd Smith, bigtoddyu at gmail dot com
